Laurel Skirt

I fell in love with this skirt when it was hung up on a mannequin in the store window display. I kept passing by looking at knowing it would look and feel amazing, but for some reason was always too scared to go in (the area where I live isnt known for inexpensive stores). I finally gathered the courage and tried on the skirt, immediately fell in love and plunked down $310 plus tax and never looked back. What more is I returned to same store later that summer and got it in another color for 20% off during the summer sale. I have been wearing these skirts for over two years and they are both still in pristine condition. I washed them, and they look like new. The linen is perfect for summer and early fall and I pretty much base my summer wardrobe around these skirts. Trust me when i say they are worth every penny and will last for years and years. I wanted to buy a blue one but they dont have my size at the moment so maybe ill snag a white at the discount and buy the blue in my size when it restocks. Dont hesitate, buy the skirt!

I love this skirt!! I went back and forth about the Laurel skirt (even after visiting the store in Great Barrington and trying it on in person) because I am very short - 4'10" and wasn't sure if the horizontal seam that makes this skirt so special, would hit me in the right place once it was hemmed. After leaving the store, I couldn't stop wondering, so I ordered it. Even after it arrived, I wasn't sure how it would look hemmed, but I bit the bullet and cut off the length from the bottom [more than 4 inches] and hemmed it. Well, it is beautiful and perfect -- even though the horizontal seam hits lower on me than on the model, and there is less skirt after the hemming below that seam -- it is still perfect. The pockets are roomy and the sillouette is so flattering. thank you

I love this skirt! The shape is beautiful. When I got it though, I realized the check was much bigger than it looked in the photos, so I thought of exchanging it for the off-white. But then the invoice said Final Sale, so I couldn’t. But I would get it again, next time, just in a smaller check. Thanks! (And I didn’t notice where it said “Final Sale”).
